14.5 oz Natural White Japanese Selvedge Denim Fabric – Blue Line
Make the details worth showing.
This natural white Japanese selvedge denim brings together a substantial 14.5 oz weight and a distinctive blue selvedge line. Start planning your next pair of jeans, chore jacket, or workwear-inspired piece around a neutral colour that puts your cut, stitching, and finishing details in focus.
THE DETAIL THAT MAKES IT YOURS
Plan a turned-up cuff or an exposed pocket edge to make the red selvedge part of your design. Against natural white denim, that small line of colour becomes a considered finishing touch.
Keep the look understated with tonal stitching, or give your seams definition with contrasting thread. The fabric provides the starting point; the details are yours.

COLOUR & CARE
Colour can vary between screens and lighting conditions. Please review the close-up photographs for the natural white shade, weave, and selvedge detail.
WASHING, DRYING & PREPARATION
Before cutting • Test-wash a measured swatch first, then measure again once fully dry to check shrinkage in both directions. • Prewash and dry your fabric using the same method you intend to use for the finished garment. • Overlock or zigzag the cut ends to reduce fraying. Leave the selvedge edges intact. • Unfold the fabric fully and avoid overloading the machine so it can move freely. • Once dry, press out creases and lay the fabric flat before placing your pattern.
Washing • Wash separately • Use cold water, a gentle cycle, and mild detergent. • Avoid bleach and whitening agents to help preserve the natural white shade and red selvedge detail.
Drying • Remove promptly, gently reshape, and line dry or dry flat. • Avoid high heat, which can increase shrinkage. • If you plan to tumble dry the finished garment, test a swatch on low heat first and use that same method when preparing the fabric.
Please allow for shrinkage when planning your project. Cold washing does not guarantee that the fabric will remain the same size.
