    Description

Introducing our 14.5 oz Japanese dry rigid selvage denim jeans. We're especially excited about the Meiji Dry Noir Selvage, a standout in our dry black denim collection. Crafted by the esteemed Kurabo Mills in Japan, this unique denim features a distinctive construction that sets it apart. The warp, visible on the front, is dyed black, ensuring it will gradually fade with wear and washing. Meanwhile, the weft, seen on the back, is dyed with a 'stay black' treatment to preserve its colour. This thoughtful design creates deep, rich black tones with striking contrasts and will develop unique folds over time.

Another highlight of this denim is its texture and aging process. The tight weave, crisp hand, prominent twill lines, and slightly coarse yarns contribute to a richly textured surface. With regular wear and washing, this denim will develop striking contrasts due to its dye and starch treatment, evolving a peppered appearance with marbled effects. We’re excited to see how these jeans transform over time, and we hope you are too!

For the best results, we recommend wearing these jeans daily for at least 6 months before the first wash to achieve distinct, contrasting fades. This is just a suggestion, so feel free to adjust based on your personal preference.
