Description

This regular-fit, straight-leg pair is crafted from organic cotton selvage denim from Kuroki Mills in Okayama, Japan. Featuring an all-white selvage ID, it has the potential to become one of the most beautiful pairs of jeans you'll ever own. The warp yarns are dyed with natural indigo, and both the weft and warp are ring-spun to create an irregular thickness, giving the denim a distinct, imperfect texture. Over time, the irregular yarns will develop puckering, and the indigo will gradually fade to a vibrant blue. Areas subject to abrasion will reveal striking, grainy salt-and-pepper effects, creating a dramatic contrast between texture and indigo. This transformation showcases the craftsmanship of old shuttle looms and the artistry behind selvage denim.
